This SRAM Apex 1x build kit brings together a mechanical DoubleTap shifter, matching brake lever, and long-cage rear derailleur for a drop-bar drivetrain. The PG-1130 cassette spans an 11-42t range across 11 speeds, giving riders a wide gear spread for mixed terrain; the PC-1110 chain completes the shift system.
At the front, the Apex 1 crankset pairs a 42t chainring with a GXP bottom bracket interface, suiting riders who prefer a single-ring setup without a front derailleur. Components in this kit cover shifting, braking input, and chain management, forming the core mechanical pieces needed to build out a gravel or road drivetrain around an 11-speed Apex groupset.
