The Shimano Deore XT BL-M8200 is a hydraulic disc brake lever for mountain bikes, sold individually as a left or right lever rather than as a matched pair. Its redesigned SERVO WAVE action manages pad-to-rotor contact through the lever pull, delivering a powerful, consistent feel with precise modulation on technical terrain.
An alloy lever blade is formed using Shimano's stamping process for durability, while a closer pivot point follows the natural arc of the finger. Tool-less reach and free stroke adjustment let riders fine-tune fit on the trail. The lever mounts via clamp band or I-SPEC EV, and low viscosity mineral oil keeps braking power consistent across temperatures.
