The Shimano GRX FC-RX820-1 crankset pairs a 172.5mm arm length with a single 40T chainring on a 110mm Shimano Asymmetric BCD, built for 12-speed gravel drivetrains. Hollowtech II hollow-forged construction keeps the arms stiff while trimming mass, and the splined Hollowtech II spindle interface delivers a secure, consistent connection between crank and bottom bracket.

This crankset suits mixed-terrain gravel riding, balancing durability and mud clearance while keeping chain retention solid. A 49.7mm chainline and 151mm Q-factor work with 10-45T or 10-51T cassettes, and the crank is compatible with 135/142mm Road Disc hubs on chainstays under or over 415mm. Pedal threads are standard 9/16 inch; a bottom bracket is sold separately.
