The Maxxis Minion DHR II is a 27.5 x 2.4 mountain bike tire built for the rear wheel on trail, enduro, and downhill bikes. It borrows side knobs from the Minion DHF but widens them for added cornering support, while ramped center knobs and sipes smooth the transition from center tread to side tread when leaning into corners.
Built with DoubleDown casing and a MaxxTerra triple compound, the tire balances durability with grip and rolling resistance. A folding bead allows tubeless setup, and tread-to-sidewall flat protection guards against punctures. Paddle-shaped center knobs also dig in under braking to keep the bike controlled on descents.
