The Kryptonite Evolution Series 4 1016 Integrated Chain pairs 10mm six-sided chain links made from 3T manganese steel with a patent-pending end link that secures directly to a hardened deadbolt, closing a common weak point found on many chain locks. A high security disc-style cylinder resists picking and drilling, while the reinforced oval crossbar lock head adds further resistance to leverage attacks.
The chain comes with three stainless steel keys, including one with an integrated LED light for locking up in low visibility, and a sliding dust cover that helps keep the cylinder free of debris. A weather-resistant nylon sleeve guards the bike's frame and finish from scratches, and registered owners can access Kryptonite's Key Safe program, which covers up to $3,000 for bicycles if the lock is defeated.
