IRIS calls this one a technical midlayer, but what does that actually mean? It’s made from Tecnowool*. A super-smart and half natural fabric from the Italian family ran business Pontetorto. It combines both recycled natural wool and synthetic fibres and what it does is create a wonderful warm, highly breathable, durable and fast drying pullover. The fabric features a ‘waffle’ knit to capture the heat from your body while ensuring that it is as light as possible. This makes this your go-to layer when you really need to think about what to take with you.
