The Continental Trinotal Rapid Race Casing tire pairs a light, supple one-ply Race Casing with Continental's Rapid Compound, a rubber formula drawn from road and gravel tire development for lower rolling resistance. Reinforced sidewall and crown construction adds puncture resistance, while the tire carries an E25 rating that accounts for the extra loads e-bikes place on tires at speed.

A redesigned tread uses more studs and greater void volume through the centre for mixed-soil grip, with siped transition knobs and reinforced, slatted shoulder studs that hold a line through corners. The tubeless ready casing folds around an aramid bead, works with hookless rims, and is built for setup without tubes on 29-inch wheels measuring 2.40 inches wide.
