The COROS DURA 2 Solar is a GPS bike computer built around a carbon fibre backplane and aluminum bezel that keeps total weight to 99 g. A 3.5-inch touchscreen pairs with haptic solar buttons and voice control, while a monocrystalline solar panel keeps the battery topped up on sunny days. It suits riders tackling long routes or multi-day adventures who want detailed mapping, structured training data, and sensor connectivity without constantly reaching for a charger.

Perfect For

Riders who want a long-lasting, lightweight GPS computer that keeps mapping, training data, and sensor connections running through full days in the saddle without a mid-ride charge.

Features

120-hour solar battery: A single charge lasts up to 120 hours in All Systems HIGH GPS mode, and the solar panel adds two hours of ride time for every hour of direct sunlight.
3.5-inch touchscreen display: The Memory-in-Pixel screen has an anti-glare coating and stays responsive even with gloves on or in wet conditions.
Carbon and aluminum build: A woven carbon fibre backplane and tapered aluminum alloy bezel keep the unit light and rigid at a 5.7 mm upper profile.
Touch, button, and voice control: Riders can swipe the touchscreen, press the haptic solar-panel buttons, or use voice commands to start rides, reroute, or skip a song without taking their hands off the bars.
Global mapping and navigation: The Ambiq Apollo 510 processor renders turn-by-turn directions, offline rerouting, climb detection, and points of interest as you ride.
Deep sensor and training integration: Up to 15 simultaneous Bluetooth and ANT+ connections cover power meters, heart rate monitors, radar, and tire pressure sensors, while on-device FTP testing and structured workouts sync straight to Strava, Zwift, Ride with GPS, and TrainingPeaks.

Why we like the COROS DURA 2 Solar GPS Bike Computer

Carbon fibre backplane

The woven carbon fibre construction keeps the DURA 2 Solar under 100 g while still giving it a sturdy, premium feel in hand.

Voice control functionality

A windproof microphone and built-in speaker let riders start and end rides, reroute, add points of interest, and skip a song out loud. Turn alerts are read back audibly too, so hands can stay on the bars when it matters most.

Solar-boosted battery life

A single charge covers up to 120 hours of GPS tracking, and the solar panel adds two hours of ride time for every hour of direct sunlight. Through the sunnier months, that extra charge can carry a rider through weeks of rides between cable top-ups.

COROS was founded in 2014 by a team of hardware engineers who shared a love of outdoor sports, with a simple goal: build training tools that help athletes get closer to the sports they love. Its first GPS watch, the COROS PACE, arrived in 2018 with 25 hours of GPS tracking, the longest of any GPS watch at the time, and long battery life has been a COROS calling card ever since.

The brand has grown quickly from there. In 2021, the VERTIX 2 became the first GPS sport watch with dual-frequency GPS, and COROS launched EvoLab and the Training Hub to give every athlete coach-level insight for free. Its arm-based Heart Rate Monitor was named one of TIME's Best Inventions of 2023, and in 2024 COROS brought that same thinking to cycling with the DURA, its first GPS bike computer, which earned Bikepacking.com's Gear of the Year. Today, COROS equips runners, cyclists, climbers and adventurers around the world, backed by an athlete roster that includes Eliud Kipchoge, Kilian Jornet and Molly Seidel.
