COROS was founded in 2014 by a team of hardware engineers who shared a love of outdoor sports, with a simple goal: build training tools that help athletes get closer to the sports they love. Its first GPS watch, the COROS PACE, arrived in 2018 with 25 hours of GPS tracking, the longest of any GPS watch at the time, and long battery life has been a COROS calling card ever since.

The brand has grown quickly from there. In 2021, the VERTIX 2 became the first GPS sport watch with dual-frequency GPS, and COROS launched EvoLab and the Training Hub to give every athlete coach-level insight for free. Its arm-based Heart Rate Monitor was named one of TIME's Best Inventions of 2023, and in 2024 COROS brought that same thinking to cycling with the DURA, its first GPS bike computer, which earned Bikepacking.com's Gear of the Year. Today, COROS equips runners, cyclists, climbers and adventurers around the world, backed by an athlete roster that includes Eliud Kipchoge, Kilian Jornet and Molly Seidel.

We sell COROS because it's built for the riding we actually do: long gravel days, bikepacking trips, and winter base miles where the last thing you want is a dead head unit. A battery measured in days rather than hours, quick touchscreen and dial controls that work with gloves on, and rides that upload in seconds make COROS gear easy to live with.

We also love that every training feature lives in a free app, with no subscriptions or paywalls. Pair a COROS bike computer with the arm-based Heart Rate Monitor and the speed and cadence sensors, and you've got a complete, accurate training setup that's one of the best values in cycling tech.
