The Rider Support Sales team member provides exceptional customer service throughout the entire customer journey. This role is focused on assisting riders with selecting and purchasing apparel, accessories, and components, ensuring they have the best possible gear for their needs. Beyond sales, the position involves managing bike service bookings, handling pickups, and ensuring seamless coordination between customers and the service department. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Bici.cc’s products, policies, and processes to enhance the overall customer experience and drive sales.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service through active listening and problem-solving.
  • Welcome all cyclists, creating an approachable and knowledgeable shopping experience.
  • Assist customers with apparel, accessories, and nutrition purchases, ensuring they make informed decisions.
  • Manage curbside pick-ups, returns, and in-store appointment bookings.
  • Answer detailed product-related questions and assist with online order inquiries.
  • Maintain store organization through restocking, merchandising, and tagging products.
  • Adhere to and uphold all Bici.cc policies and procedures to ensure consistency in customer service.

Strategic Outcomes:

  • Confidently closes sales, ensuring every customer leaves with the best product for their needs.
  • Builds trust by ensuring customers feel listened to, valued, and supported.
  • Develops a strong understanding of both internal and customer-facing policies, ensuring a seamless experience across departments.
  • Regularly completes training modules to stay current on product knowledge and industry trends.

Skills and Experience:

  • Passion for cycling and the broader cycling community.
  • Strong technical and product knowledge, including an understanding of component compatibility.
  • Experience in bike retail sales; strong mountain bike knowledge is a key asset.
  • At least one year of customer service experience in a retail environment.
  • Grade 12 completion is preferred.

Position Title: Rider Support Sales
Location: 1497 Adanac Street, Vancouver, BC
Position Types: Full-time, with weekend availability
Reports To: Retail Manager
Compensation: $19 - $23 per hour
