X-Flat12 Wax

The KMC X-Flat12 Wax is a flat-top bicycle chain for SRAM drivetrains that run Flattop chains. It shares the squared-off plate profile those cassettes require and arrives already treated with KMC GO wax, so it runs quiet and low-friction without an initial strip and re-lube. X-Bridge shaping on the plates helps the chain pick up gears cleanly across the cassette.

Flat-top chains suit only SRAM 12- and 13-speed groups that use Flattop chains, including Transmission and T-Type. They will not run on Shimano 12-speed or SRAM Eagle, so confirm the drivetrain before fitting. The factory wax picks up less road grit than wet lubricant, which keeps the cassette and jockey wheels cleaner between services.
