The Wheels Manufacturing Single Speed Conversion Kit turns a compatible Shimano HG freehub body into a single speed setup without swapping the hub. The kit includes a 16t cog, angled and flat spacers, shims, and a lockring, letting riders centre the cog accurately on the freehub splines. It suits riders moving between geared and single speed riding on the same wheel.
This conversion kit works with any 1/2 x 1/8 pitch chain, including BMX and track chains, as well as 8 or 9 speed chains; it is not recommended for 10 or 11 speed chains. The black anodized spacers and cog provide a clean finish and should hold up to regular riding and weather exposure.
