The SRAM Force D2 Wide crankset anchors SRAM's X-Range gearing philosophy, using tight 13-tooth gaps between chainrings paired with wide-range cassettes. This reduces shifting frequency and keeps riders in the big ring longer. The 43/30T chainring combination and wide chainline increase tire clearance while providing gearing suited to off-road riding.
A DUB spindle interface extends the crank spindle length to fit both road and mountain bottom bracket standards, supporting cross-brand compatibility. Aluminum chainrings mount via a 94 BCD integrated interface, and the crankset requires a Wide front derailleur for proper shifting. Riders can add a power meter later without replacing the crankset.
