The Shimano 105 RD-R7100 Rear Derailleur is a 12-speed rear derailleur built with Shimano SHADOW RD construction, keeping the mechanism tucked close to the cassette for a lower profile. It supports both direct mount and conventional direct attachment, fitting frames set up for either mounting style.
The derailleur handles up to a 34-36T low sprocket and an 11T top sprocket, with a 41T total capacity and a 16T maximum front chainring difference. Fluoric coated link bushings and a sealed guide pulley bearing keep the pivot points moving smoothly as the cage shifts across the cassette.
