The Garmin Varia eRVR315 is a rear-facing radar sensor built for Cannondale SmartSense-equipped e-bikes. It detects vehicles approaching from behind and relays alerts through a wired connection or wireless broadcast to compatible Garmin devices, cycling computers, or the Cannondale App, giving riders added awareness of traffic without needing to glance back.
Mounting to the seatpost or a rear rack, this radar unit requires the SmartSense HindSite Array Radar Connection Bracket, sold separately, and pairs with e-bikes equipped with Hindsite or Foresite lighting. The included 100cm wire supports a direct connection within the SmartSense platform, keeping the setup tidy and ready for compatible Cannondale models.
