Swing Away

This is the swing away arm on its own rather than a complete bike rack. It fits between a two inch receiver and a Saris hitch rack, and it lets the loaded rack pivot 90 degrees to one side so a tailgate or hatch can be opened without taking the bikes off. The arm locks once swung clear.
Saris rates the assembly to carry up to 250 pounds of rack plus bikes, and lists it as working with its Freedom and SuperClamp platform hitch racks among others. Two built in carrying handles make the unit easier to lift and line up during installation, and a Hitch Tightener is supplied to take play out of the receiver connection.
