Disc Brake Pads Avid Juicy/BB7 Metallic Bulk

These are replacement disc brake pads for the Avid Juicy hydraulic and Avid BB7 mechanical caliper platform, supplied in bulk as twenty pairs rather than as individually packaged sets. The metal compound suits workshops and riders who work through pads quickly, holding up to sustained heat and to wet, gritty conditions better than an organic compound does.

A steel backing plate carries the friction material and keeps the pad flat under hard braking. One pair services one caliper, so a complete bike takes two pairs. Bed the pads in against a clean rotor before hard riding so the compound transfers evenly. Avid BB5 calipers take a different pad shape and are not covered by this fitment.
