Apex AXS Flat Mount Right Shifter and Brake

The SRAM Apex AXS Shift-Brake System pairs wireless twelve-speed electronic shifting with a hydraulic disc brake in a single drop-bar control. This is the right-hand unit, which operates the rear brake and, under SRAM eTap logic, shifts the rear derailleur to a harder gear. The left-hand lever, sold separately, handles the easier direction.

The brake lever and shift paddle are aluminum, with Reach Adjust to set lever position for different hand sizes. Braking runs through a flat mount caliper, the only caliper standard SRAM offers for Apex, fitted with steel-backed organic pads. SRAM recommends CenterLine rotors. The system uses DOT 5.1 fluid and carries SRAM approval for e-bike use.
