Recon 2.0 Shoe
The Specialized Recon 2.0 is a mountain and gravel cycling shoe built around Specialized's Body Geometry platform, which aligns the foot, knee, and hip to reduce strain and improve pedaling efficiency. Stride technology pairs a flexible toe box for natural off-bike movement with a stiff cleat pocket that maintains power transfer when pedaling, with a stiffness index rating of 6.0.
A BOA Li2 dial paired with Dyneema yarn soft-lace eliminates hard guides for a cleaner, more comfortable fit with on-the-fly adjustability. A forefoot strap allows independent volume control around the toes, and the welded upper minimizes internal seams. SlipNot rubber tread on the outsole provides grip across mixed terrain when the trail demands walking sections.
