The Shimano Tiagra FC-4700 is a 10-speed road crankset built around Shimano's Hollowtech II interface, which integrates the bottom bracket spindle into the right crank arm for increased rigidity. The four-arm chainring design strikes a balance between stiffness and weight, and the aluminum construction with anodized finish keeps it durable through regular use. Chainring tooth profile is optimized for HG-X 10-speed chain.
With a 50/34t ring combination, 43.5mm chainline, and 150mm Q-factor, this crankset fits standard road geometry and is compatible with both 130mm quick-release and 135/142mm road disc hub spacing. Bottom bracket is sold separately; the crankset uses a standard Hollowtech II shell interface. Crank arm length on this variant is 172.5mm.
