The GRX RD-RX717-SGS is a wireless Di2 rear derailleur built for 1x gravel drivetrains. It pairs with a wide-range 12-speed cassette to deliver gear range across varied terrain. Automatic Impact Recovery returns the derailleur to its original position after impact, while an impact-deflecting shape and solid pulleys guard against trail damage.
SHIMANO SHADOW ES chain stabilization pairs a wide link structure with a skid-plate design and durable aluminum plate for added strength. Sealed bearings support both guide and tension pulleys, and a hollow B-axle rounds out the construction. The battery sits enclosed against rough terrain yet remains easily removable for charging.
