Carbon spokes and a revised rim and hub layup shave 159 g off the previous WH-R9270-C50, bringing the pair down to 1,302 g for sharper response on climbs and in sprints alike.
A 50 mm rim profile, refined through 5.4 million aero shape simulations for a 6% efficiency gain, delivers dependable rigidity at pro-level speeds and stable behaviour through high-speed cornering. The 23 mm internal width and hooked tubeless construction support a wide 28–45C tire range, while Cup & Cone bearings and a Direct Engagement rear hub add durability and easy serviceability.
