The Shimano Altus FD-M310 Front Derailleur is a top-swing, low-clamp front derailleur built for 3x7/8-speed drivetrains, handling chainrings up to 42T or 48T depending on setup. Dual SIS index shifting keeps front shifts consistent, while a wide link design supports steady cage movement between chainrings.
A modified cage tail shape adds tire clearance on bikes with wider tires, and dual cable pull allows routing from either the top or bottom of the derailleur. The clamp mounts in low position and includes shims for 28.6mm, 31.8mm, and 34.9mm seat tubes, covering a range of frame diameters.
