This ROTOR noQ 36t Round Ring is an inner chainring built for five-bolt road cranks. It pairs with a 52t outer in a mid-compact setup, and ROTOR also lists it for use with 44t and 46t outers. The result is a practical climbing gear for road and triathlon bikes running a double crankset.
The ring is lathe and CNC machined from T6 heat-treated 7075 aluminum with a black anodized finish, and uses hardened steel shifting pins. It shares the same five-bolt pattern as ROTOR's matching outer rings, so a full 2x setup bolts together on one spider, and it's compatible with 10 and 11-speed chains. Its round shape keeps pedalling resistance even through the stroke, unlike ROTOR's oval Q Rings.
