The Oak Components Grown bashguard mounts to the bottom bracket area and shields the frame, chainring, chain, and rear linkage from rock strikes and pedal impacts. It sits close enough to the chainring to block debris without interfering with chain movement, protecting the drivetrain through repeated hits on rough trails.

Impact forces from trail contact route through two screw points at the mount, spreading load evenly rather than concentrating stress on a single fastener. This reduces the chance of a cracked guard or stripped bolt after repeated ground strikes. The guard ships in a raw, unfinished surface without paint or anodizing.
