The METRON PRS DB Freehub Body is the replacement driver for Vision wheels built on the PRS disc-brake hub. It carries the 72 tooth Helical Clutch ratchet, which Vision rates at a five degree engagement angle. Fitting a fresh body restores clean pickup once the cassette splines or the ratchet teeth have worn.
The body is alloy and accepts Shimano HG road cassettes from ten to twelve speed. It arrives without an axle spindle, so the spindle and end caps carry over from the hub being serviced. Vision publishes a PRS hub maintenance manual covering removal and refitting, and the ratchet surfaces should be cleaned and regreased on reassembly.
