The Keo Blade 12 is Look's road clipless pedal built around a leaf spring blade in place of a conventional coil spring. The blade fitted here sets retention at 12 Nm, a hold aimed at regular road riders who want security without a heavy release. A carbon body carries a wide platform that spreads load across the sole of the shoe.
Stainless steel plates form the contact surface, which measures 705 mm² and keeps pressure even so hot spots are less likely on long rides. The spindle is Chromoly+ running on steel bearings, and blades can be swapped in under a minute with a single tool if a rider wants a different retention level. Keo Grip cleats are the matching fitment.
