Varia RTL515 Radar Tail Light

The Varia RTL515 Rearview Radar with Tail Light provides cyclists with enhanced situational awareness by detecting approaching vehicles from behind. This device pairs with compatible Garmin bike computers or dedicated smartphone apps to deliver visual and audible alerts for vehicles at distances up to 140 meters. The integrated tail light offers multiple modes to help ensure visibility to motorists during both day and night rides.

This compact unit features a slim vertical design that mounts easily to most road bicycle seat posts. It carries an IPX7 water rating to maintain performance in rainy conditions and offers a wide 220 degree viewing angle for the tail light. The radar system tracks multiple vehicles simultaneously and provides speed based threat classifications to help the rider monitor closing speeds on the road.
