The Fox 34 GRIP X2 Damper Upgrade Kit brings Fox's 4-way adjustable damper to compatible 34mm forks, replacing the stock cartridge with independent high speed and low speed compression and rebound circuits. Riders gain separate control over small-bump sensitivity and big-hit support, letting the fork be tuned for a wide range of trail conditions without compromising either end of the spectrum.
Inside, the GRIP X2 cartridge uses a 24mm base valve and 23 shims, more than three times the hardware found on a GRIP2 unit, for finer damping resolution. The kit fits any 2016-or-newer Fox 34 fork aside from Rhythm and Step-Cast models, with travel capped at 140mm on 29-inch wheels or 150mm on 27.5-inch wheels. A full service, using Fox 4WT suspension fluid, is recommended every 125 hours.
