398-E MAX Steel Bearing /each (8x19x10/11mm)
The Enduro 398-E MAX is a double-row, extended-race angular-contact bearing built from high-carbon chromium steel for suspension pivot applications. Its MAX-Design full-complement ball arrangement removes the retainer, allowing more Grade 10 steel balls to share the load across two rows. This layout reduces flex in suspension linkages and doubles the contact area compared to a single-row bearing.
Full-contact, double-lip labyrinth seals keep contaminants out while a 90% fill of Almagard extra high pressure grease supports smooth rotation. The extended inner race eliminates the need for additional spacers between suspension linkages, simplifying installation. Rated ABEC-3 with a static load rating of 713 lbf, this bearing is commonly specified by Yeti for pivot applications.
