TPU Tube PV

The Continental ContiTPU is a seven-layer TPU inner tube for road, gravel, and mountain bike riders who prioritize weight savings and packability. Its micrometer-thick TPU construction maximizes airtightness and durability while keeping weight to a minimum. The tubes are left uncoloured to preserve material integrity and eliminate air retention issues caused by dye-related surface imperfections.

The conical valve base improves seating against the rim and reduces unwanted movement, while the internally threaded valve accepts extensions or a replacement valve core. Each tube ships with an enclosed repair kit and is quality-checked after production. Note that ContiTPU tubes are not compatible with rim brake systems, as heat exposure can cause a sudden loss of air pressure.
