VALT Progressive Lightweight Coil Spring

Cane Creek's VALT is a progressive-rate steel coil spring for rear shocks. Rather than the flat, linear rate of a standard coil, it builds a true rise-in-rate curve that begins at the midpoint of the stroke and firms up through the back half, giving riders added support near bottom-out.

This spring is sized for 55mm-stroke shocks in the 550-670 lb range and fits Cane Creek coil shocks as well as compatible units from Fox DHX and Marzocchi. Its progression curve mirrors a DB Kitsuma Air shock fitted with one volume spacer, giving coil-shock riders extra bottom-out resistance without switching to an air spring.
