The Product Data Coordinator plays a key behind-the-scenes role in ensuring our digital
catalog is organized, optimized, and ready to perform. You’ll take ownership of product accuracy
across Shopify while also supporting technical catalog structures like tagging schemas,
metafield configurations, and collection logic. You’ll assist with data modeling projects that
improve how product data flows across our internal tools and supports reporting and business
decisions.

This role is ideal for someone who loves clean data, has an analytical mindset, and is curious
about how structured product information drives both customer experience and operational
efficiency.

Key Accountabilities:

• Input and update product titles, specs, descriptions, pricing, tags, and imagery in Shopify
• Build and maintain structured tagging systems and metafields to support better product
  filtering and discovery
• Support basic data modeling projects that improve catalog structure and reporting (e.g.,
  building frameworks for product type hierarchies or attribute standardization)
• Help design and maintain product categorization logic for Shopify collections and filters
  QA product listings and site organization to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Collaborate with merchandising and buying teams to support new product introductions
  and go-lives
• Generate product availability and completeness reports to identify catalog gaps
• Assist in building and maintaining dashboards or tracking sheets for catalog health,
  using Google Sheets, Looker Studio, or other reporting tools
• Liaise with vendors to clarify and complete missing product data

Skills and Experience:

• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Experience with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms
• Comfortable using Google Sheets for structured reporting and data analysis (pivot
  tables, VLOOKUP, array formulas, etc.)
• Exposure to basic data modeling concepts (hierarchies, schemas, attribute
  standardization)
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Looker Studio, or other visualization tools is a plus
• Excellent organization and documentation habits
• Bonus: Experience with JSON or metafield management in Shopify
• Bonus: Familiarity with PIM systems, Notion, or data visualization platforms
• Bonus: Interest in cycling products, retail systems, or eCommerce platforms
