Position Title: Mechanic
Location: 1497 Adanac Street, Vancouver, BC
Position Types: Permanent Full-Time (37.5 hours/week, some weekend availability)
Reports To: Service Manager
Compensation: $22–$25 per hour
The Mechanic is a trusted member of the Bici service team, responsible for delivering high-quality bike builds, repairs, and maintenance across mountain, gravel, and road. This role focuses on doing things right the first time—combining technical skill, attention to detail, and clear communication with both customers and teammates.
Mechanics play an important role in ensuring bikes are safe, reliable, and ready to ride, while contributing to a clean, organized workshop and supporting the growth of junior mechanics.

This role requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced service environment. The Mechanic collaborates closely with the service and retail teams to deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience while upholding Bici’s standards for quality, safety, and professionalism.
Every bike is built, inspected, and serviced to Bici and brand standards. From road to gravel to mountain, we focus on doing things right the first time—so every bike leaves the shop safe, dialed, and ready to ride.
Mechanics work closely with teammates through clear service writing and open communication. By supporting one another and sharing knowledge, we keep the workshop running smoothly and service consistent.
We treat every repair and build with care and attention to detail. Getting it right earns trust, keeps riders safe, and helps our community spend more time on the road and trail.
