Cloth Rim Tape

Velox rim tape lines the inside of a wheel rim, protecting inner tubes from punctures caused by spoke ends and spoke holes. An adhesive backing holds the tape in place inside the rim bed during installation, creating a barrier between the tube and the spoke nipples underneath. One roll covers a single wheel.

Installation is straightforward and seats the tape evenly around the rim bed before fitting a tube, working out any wrinkles or overlaps near the seam. Trimming excess length keeps the tape flat under the tube without bunching. Even coverage keeps the tube isolated from sharp edges at every spoke hole around the rim.
