S05E 220 2.3MM

The RS05E is a 220 mm disc brake rotor built for downhill and e-bike use, where sustained braking loads generate high temperatures. It runs a 2.3 mm braking surface, thicker than a standard rotor, which adds thermal mass and resists fade on long descents. A perforated outer track and open spider arms help shed heat between applications.

The one-piece construction keeps the braking track and carrier as a single component, and a six-bolt mounting pattern fits standard hubs. A rust block treatment is applied to the centre section. Because the rotor is thicker than a 1.8 mm disc, it must be paired with calipers that allow the extra clearance, and it should be replaced once wear reaches 1.9 mm.
