The Trek Flare R City is a rear daytime running light for urban riding. It puts out 35 lumens through focused optics, and its interruptive flash pattern stays visible to following traffic from up to 900 metres away in daylight. Integrated side lighting adds a second axis of visibility at junctions and in heavy city traffic.
Four modes cover day and night use, running from 10 hours of day flash to 24 hours of night flash. A row of fuel gauge LEDs reports remaining charge, and the 350mAh battery refills over USB-C in two hours. An IPX7 water resistance rating covers riding in rain, and the light clips to the included quick connect mount.
