Sora ST-R3000 Rear Shifter 9spd

The Sora ST-R3000 is a combined shift and brake lever for drop handlebars, covering the rear of a 9 speed road drivetrain. Shifting and braking run from one unit through Shimano's STI layout, so the rider can change gear and brake without moving the hands from the hoods or the drops.

An aluminum lever body pairs with a screw-type reach adjustment, which lets riders with smaller hands bring the blade closer to the bar. The lever works with caliper and cantilever rim brakes, and the shift inner cables are Optislick coated stainless steel to reduce friction. Shimano quotes reduced shift effort and a shorter lever throw over the previous generation.
