Scorpion BLACKSTING
The Scorpion Blacksting is a gravity mountain bike tire from Pirelli's Scorpion range, aimed at hardpack and compact ground where carrying speed matters more than outright cornering bite. Its tread uses tightly packed, low-profile knobs to hold rolling resistance down, and the pattern is set up to keep braking predictable and steering response precise through fast, dry sections.
Four casing constructions run from lightweight sidewall reinforcement through to a full dual-ply racing build, and three rubber compounds trade grip against wear life. Every version uses a folding bead and a tubeless ready construction. The combination suits bike park laps and dry, rocky trails, where casing support at lower pressures does as much work as the tread itself.
