Rick XC Pro Speed Tire Black 29 x 2.4"

The Schwalbe Rick is a cross-country race tire, the fastest tread in the brand's XC range, developed in collaboration with Olympic silver medallist Mathias Flückiger. Its defining feature is the closely packed centre tread, which rolls with very little drag on hardpack, while taller shoulder knobs still give the tire something to hold with once the trail tips into a corner.

Construction is the XC Pro casing at 67 threads per inch on a folding bead. The transition between the centre and shoulder knobs is reinforced, which adds puncture protection across the part of the tire that takes the most abuse on rocky ground. The Addix Speed compound is the quickest in the range and keeps rolling resistance low through a long race.
