The Garmin Varia RTL515 is a rear-facing bike radar and tail light that detects vehicles approaching from behind, sending real-time speed-based alerts to connected devices via Bluetooth before they come into view. The tail light features multiple output modes, including a high-visibility day flash with daylight visibility up to 1 mile, making it effective across varied lighting conditions.
The RTL515 mounts to the seatpost of almost any bike and has a 220-degree viewing angle for broad side visibility. IPX7 water resistance keeps the unit functional in wet conditions, and multiple flash modes let riders adjust output to extend run time on longer rides.
