The Aspen AT is Maxxis's cross country mountain tire for riders who need more bite than a pure race tread gives on loose or broken ground. Low ramped centre knobs sit in a tight pattern to keep rolling speed up, while taller shoulder blocks step in once the bike is leaned over in a corner.
The casing is a 120 TPI folding build with EXO sidewall protection, which adds a cut resistant layer where rocks tend to catch. It is tubeless ready, so it seats with sealant on a compatible rim and can be run at lower pressures. MaxxSpeed rubber sits on the fast end of the Maxxis compound range.
