This cassette requires a Shimano MICROSPLINE freehub for installation. The 10-speed cog provides ample speed for descents, while the larger cogs support climbing on steep trails. The 10-51T option is for single chainring setups, and the 10-45T is compatible with single or double chainring configurations.
