NoThreadSet Headset Tapered 34/44mm, for Tapered 1.5" Steerer, Midnight
The Chris King NoThreadSet Tapered Headset fits a 1-1/8 inch to 1-1/2 inch tapered steerer tube, pairing an EC34/28.6 upper cup with an EC44/40 lower cup. Both cups carry Chris King's rounded external profile, giving the headset a compact, finished look at the head tube junction while maintaining full compatibility with tapered fork steerers found on modern frames.
Inside, Chris King machines its own sealed angular-contact bearings alongside matched surgical-grade steel races, keeping tolerances consistent and allowing user servicing without special tools. The patented GripLock retention design secures the 1-1/8 inch portion of the tapered steerer for reliable alignment, and the headset carries the King Lifetime Warranty for long-term assurance.
