The Cannondale Synapse Seatpost Wedge is a replacement clamping kit for the internal mechanism that secures a 25.4mm seatpost inside compatible Synapse frames. It restores proper hold when the original wedge or bolt wears out, keeping the seatpost firmly in place at the chosen height. Riders maintaining an existing Synapse frame will find this a straightforward fix.
This wedge kit fits Cannondale Synapse Disc frames from 2014 to 2017 and Synapse rim-brake frames from 2014 to 2019. The package includes a replacement bolt and wedge, giving everything needed to reseat the seatpost clamp. Owners of 2018-present Synapse Disc frames require part number KP448 instead, since frame tolerances changed with that model year.
