Specialized Epic 9

The all-new Specialized Epic 9. Built on 24 years of XC race development, the Epic 9 platform is lighter, more efficient, and more capable than any Epic before it.

The frame weighs 1,589 grams — the lightest full-suspension XC frame ever made. Suspension friction is down 11% over Epic 8, and 120mm of front and rear travel delivers the composure modern XC courses demand. Three ride modes — Wide Open, Magic Middle, and Sprint-On-Lock — let you match the bike to the terrain in real time.

Four builds cover every level of XC racing: the ultra-light S-Works LTD UL at 8.66 kg, the flagship S-Works at 9.66 kg, the Flight Attendant-equipped Pro at 10.39 kg, and the race-ready Expert at 10.95 kg. Same platform, same geometry, scaled to fit your priorities.
